In typical South Dakota fashion, Easter was cold and snowy/rainy, but we made the best of it and the boys had a blast! Earlier in the week we had an egg hunt on campus where I work so the boys came up and met the Easter Bunny. Surprisingly they both loved him and kept giving him high-fives!
Saturday night we had supper at Robbie’s parents’ house and dyed some eggs. The boys (all of them) had a blast. Brooks couldn’t quite get the hang of using the spoon to get the egg out of the dye so he just went for it with his hands. His little hands were completely blue!
Sunday morning the boys checked out their Easter baskets and we headed to church. We had an awesome church service with the largest attendance in our church’s history…so cool! I’m so thankful for our church and so excited about the growth, not online in size, but of the people that are there!
It was so cold and wet, we did not get a single family picture, but we had a great day with family and above all, are so thankful for our resurrected Lord and the promise that we have because of His death!
