*How big is baby?: Baby weighs almost 6 lbs and is over 18 1/2 inches long. Baby is the size of a head of romaine lettuce.
*Sleep?: Sleep has been so good. I’m getting to the point that I am super tired by early evening though. When I wake up in the morning I usually start thinking about how great it’s going to be to climb back in bed that night haha!
*Best moment this week?: I finally have all of the nursery furniture painted. I need to do one more coat on the crib, but at least everything has been touched once 🙂 Then comes the waxing…
I will say that working with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint has been quite the process. It’s not hard, just very time consuming because the crib has so many little nooks and crannies. I think I will do a post all about this when I’m completely finished.
*Food cravings?: Nothing really as far as cravings, but as a normal banana lover I really can’t stand the thought of eating one right now. Kind of weird. Also, meat does not sound good AT ALL.
*What I miss: Being able to bend over and move around easily. Not getting tired/winded so easily.
*What I’m looking forward to: Father’s Day weekend celebrating Robbie! Also looking forward to my 37 week appointment next week.
I think I can safely say that if the baby decided to come now we’d be ready. Stuff wise, probably not mentally haha! Everything we “need” is out and ready to go. We have clothes, diapers, and a place to sleep so I think we’d be good.
A lot of people I know who are due around the same time of me are starting to have their babies and I can’t believe that we’re pretty much next! It really doesn’t seem possible, although it does feel like I’ve been pregnant forever.
I’m really anxious to see how big this baby is. I “feel” like the baby is much bigger/heavier/taking up more space than Hayden did, but maybe I’m just not remembering correctly. I was shocked when they told us Hayden was 8 lbs 2 oz. at birth so I’m really curious to see how big this one is!
I’m so thankful that for the most part I feel really great. Besides my feet swelling a little by the end of the day I really don’t have any complaints. With Hayden, I never really got to the miserable point of pregnancy and was so thankful for that. I’m praying the same is true this time.
