*How big is baby?: Baby is the size of an heirloom tomato…about 6 inches and according to our ultrasound baby weighs right at 9 ounces!
*Sleep?: I’ve been super tired this week. I’ve fallen asleep in the recliner or on the couch almost every night.
*Best moment this week?: Our ultrasound!
The baby was lying face down the entire time.
*Food cravings?: Pickles, pizza, banana peppers
*What I miss: Not feeling huge.
*What I’m looking forward to: Feeling the baby move more.
It’s kind of crazy to think this could be the halfway point already if this baby decides to come when Hayden did!
I pretty much sailed through the first half of this pregnancy, but the last week or so I’ve had some really bad headaches and seem to get nauseous if I wait to long to eat. I thought that only happened in the beginning?!
We had our anatomy scan on Monday and praise the Lord, the little peanut looks healthy and strong! We’re so thankful for another healthy blessing to add to our family. It really is a true miracle to see God’s work first hand!
The heart rate was in the 150s and we saw all we needed to except the face. Oh yeah… we did NOT find out the sex of the baby. I can hardly believe it myself, but I think that it will be a fun surprise.
The baby had its hands up by its face the entire hour. Dr. C tried numerous times to get them to move so she could get a good clear picture of the face and no such luck! So we’ll try again at my 26 week appointment. I’m excited to know we’ll get another peek at the little sweetie!
We loved that the baby gave us the thumbs up because Hayden did the same thing during his scan.
Robbie and I were both a little disappointed because we didn’t get any 3D pictures this time and we didn’t get one single picture or good look at the baby’s profile or face. I know it was hard beings the hands were covering the face the majority of the time, but still. Our Doctor actually did the ultrasound this time. When we were pregnant with Hayden an Ultrasound Tech did it, not sure if that made a difference or not.
The first picture makes it kind of hard to see so I included both. So crazy how the bump can look different depending upon the day/time.
I know it doesn’t necessarily appear that way in the pictures, but I just feel absolutely huge in comparison to how I felt at this point with Hayden. It really worries me for the next 19+ weeks!
