Thank you all for the congratulations and excitement! When I was pregnant with Hayden, I swear there was a baby boom. Everyone I knew in real life and the blog world was expecting. This time around it’s no different! I’m so excited to be sharing in this again with some of my favorite blog/twitter mamas! Another reason why I love the blog world!
*I found out I was pregnant on November 4th. It was a Monday, I had taken some newborn pictures of Robbie’s cousins new baby and then headed home and planned to take the test. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew what the answer would be, I just needed to SEE it.
*This baby was a SURPRISE in every sense of the word. We had thought about possibly trying later this summer after Hayden had turned 2. I truly feel like the Lord knew what He was doing when he put it all into motion. HIS plan is always the right one.
*We told our families over Christmas. Robbie’s parents were shocked…I have a great video I’ll try to post of Robbie’s mom’s reaction. My parents weren’t as surprised as us (strange) but are very excited!
*We had an ultrasound at our first appointment to confirm dates and it was decided that the baby was measuring exactly 9 weeks…official due date is…
July 10th, 2014.
Hayden and B2 will be a little less than 26 months apart.
We didn’t get an ultrasound this early with Hayden. Robbie and I were both still in disbelief when we went to our first appointment and I think God knew we needed to “see” this baby to make it all feel more real. Seeing that tiny, precious little miracle with a fluttering heart beating was just amazing.
*I’m currently 15 weeks and feeling great!
*I had a couple weeks in the beginning where I felt kind of yucky at night and was SUPER tired, but besides that I really can’t complain!
*We aren’t exactly sure if we’ll be finding out the sex of this baby or not. Robbie absolutely does not want to and I, of course, do. February 5th is the day, so hopefully he’ll cave 🙂
*I honestly don’t think I have a gut feeling this time as to whether it’s a boy or girl. Most days I think girl, but then I think how similar this pregnancy has been to Haydens (minus a couple weeks in the beginning) so I’m kind of torn.
*All I wanted to eat at first were carbs, carbs, carbs (just like with Hayden) but now that ship has sailed and I’m back to my normal eating. Trying to stick with fresh fruits, veggies, and good proteins.
*I’m still sticking with my Advocare routine as well. Dr. approved!
*Still trying to keep up with my workouts. Funny that I posted this “No Excuse November” post on the same day that I found out I was pregnant. Some days are easier than others, but I know how important exercise is and how great I feel when I can fit a workout in. Doing my best!
*When people say you grow/show a lot quicker with the second baby they are not lying…wow! And they also say that the poor second baby gets the shaft when it comes to documentation, yes that’s true too. 🙁
Already feeling the bloat…ugh!
Missed a few weeks in there…oops!
