I have had quite a few questions lately asking me about Advocare and what is all this 24 Day Challenge business so I decided to do a little post about the challenge and answer some frequently asked questions!
Advocare’s 24 Day Challenge is designed to kick start your healthy lifestyle.
For the challenge you will be given recipes, a grocery list of approved foods, and lots of help and support
It starts off with the 10 Day Cleanse
The first 10 days are all about cleansing your body of toxins, restoring the good bacteria in your gut, and preparing your body to absorb the good nutrients you will be putting in during the max phase. You will be eating clean, minimally processed foods. During the first10 days you will avoid coffee, dairy, and alcohol. The cleanse phase includes a fiber drink, cleanse tablets, probiotics, Omegaplex, and Spark. The Spark drink does contain caffeine (the equivalent to one cup of coffee). There are no headaches, jitters, or crash associated with Spark. It is amazing! This cleanse is very gentle and uneventful. You will not have to worry about running to the bathroom 🙂 The average weight loss during this phase is 5-10 pounds.
After your 10 day cleanse, you move into the 14 Day Max Phase
In the Max Phase you will continue to eat as clean as possible. You can add in some dairy, alcohol, and coffee in moderation. You will continue drinking your Spark as well as one of the three MNS packs. MNS stands for Metabolic Nutrition System. The packs contain all of your necessary vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and omegas as well as additional ingredients to help with overall health and wellness.
MNS Max E- Helps to keep your energy up and rev up your metabolism as you continue to lose weight
MNS Max C- Helps with maximum appetite control.
MNS Max 3- Designed for overall wellness, energy, and appetite control.
It is recommended that you start out with MNS 3 if you are new to the challenge because it is a great, but more subtle combination of Max E and Max C.
During this phase you will also substitute one meal per day with the Meal Replacement Shake. Most people choose to use this for breakfast, but you can substitute it for any meal. The shakes have a perfect balance of carbs, proteins, and fats and taste SO good. These help to get your metabolism going, help stabilize your blood sugar, and help keep you feeling full. I drink one every morning, except for weekends when I have time to make breakfast.
The shakes come in five flavors:
Chocolate Mocha (my favorite)
Dark Chocolate (non dairy/vegetarian)
One thing that is not included in the challenge but I HIGHLY recommend is Catalyst. This product is amazing and has totally transformed the look of my body. I can’t say enough about it. Some people call it liposuction in a bottle :) It’s that good.
The average loss for someone on the challenge is 10 lbs and 10 inches. Personally, I lost 6 lbs and NUMEROUS inches and am STILL losing inches and pant sizes months later. Not only that, my I feel HEALTHY and STRONG.
