I’m late in writing/posting this because I think I’m in denial. If I don’t write it, it’s not happening, right? 🙂
My sweet boy you are 11 months old. One more month and you are a whole year. A toddler. My little BOY.
I’ll save all my sap for you’re one year post. This has been such a fun month. You are busy busy!
Not only are you a FAST crawler, you climb on everything. You also pull up to stand constantly, walk along furniture, and love walking behind you’re puppy toy. You still haven’t been brave enough to let go, but mama’s ok with that for now.
You are wearing 12 month clothes and some 12-18 month pajamas. You can also still fit into some 9 month onesies that we’re using because the weather was still cool and you were running out of long sleeve shirts!
You’re still in size 3 diapers.
Weight: I think you’re right around 20 lbs.
Your hair is getting really long and has sort of turned into a mini mullet. It sure has come a long way from the bald baby we thought we’d have forever 🙂
You still have just the two bottom teeth, but we keep thinking the top ones are on their way out. They’re just taking their sweet time.
You are still getting breastmilk, about 5 oz. in the morning, 3 bottles at daycare, and about 6 oz. at bedtime.
Still eating 3 meals a day and doing water in a sippy cup every once in awhile. You still don’t care for milk in it. We’ve tried juice, diluted, and you don’t seem to like that much either.
You’re still the happiest baby around. Smiling and laughing all the time. You do tend to act a little shy when we get around people you don’t know that well, but after a few minutes you seem to warm up!
You LOVE Redick. As soon as we say puppy you’re eyes perk up and you get so excited! You aren’t afraid to pet her or let her lick you up!
You officially say mama, dada, and quack quack.
Still sleeping 8 pm to 7 am or later (if we get to stay home that day)
You wave bye bye and smack you’re lips.
You also celebrated your first Easter this month. You looked like such a big boy in your bowtie 🙂
I can tell you are going to be strong headed like your daddy. When you set your mind to something and you can’t quite get it you get MAD.
You LOVE being outside, but we’ve discovered you don’t care much for the grass.
As soon as you touch it, you cry.
Much happier in the stroller. You just babble away and kick your legs.
Bath time is still your favorite. You would stay in there all night if we let you. It never fails. You cry every time we take you out. You love standing in your tub and holding onto the edge of the bathtub. As soon as we say, “Time to get out,” and hold out our arms you plop your butt right down and look down at the water, not at us. You do NOT want to get out. It’s the funniest thing.
You certainly understand the word No, but you don’t like to listen to it. As soon as we say No, you give us the biggest smile. This whole disciplining thing is going to be hard on mama.
You make every day brighter and you always put a smile on my face. I never knew someone so small could make me laugh so hard. You are such a sweet boy and my world is a better place because of you.
I’m going to saver these next few weeks with you as my baby. I love you so much little peanut.
