10 Months. I sit here in disbelief that my baby is 10 months old. 2 months shy of of one year.
This time last year we were busy preparing for your arrival, having showers, and soaking in all those exciting moments that lead to the moment you joined the world!
So much has changed in that short time. You’ve grown and changed into a big, happy boy!
You are in size 3 diapers and 9-12 or 12 month clothes. Some 12-18 month pj’s.
You’re still rocking the two bottom teeth with no real signs of the top coming in anytime soon.
You are still so happy and rarely cry.
You are crawling ALL over and are so fast. I barely turn my back and you’re right next to me.
You also started pulling up on everything in sight now. It seems like that happened overnight.
You even started walking along the couch!
You’re still getting breastmilk, 5 oz in the morning, 3 bottles at daycare, and 6 oz. before bed.
You also get 3 meals a day and continue to be a great eater. We still have not come across one single thing you won’t eat.
You take a sippy cup of water with supper but don’t really drink too much. We’ve tried giving you milk in the sippy with lunch and you don’t really want anything to do with it. We’ll keep trying.
Still sleeping 8 pm to 7 am or later (if we get to stay home that day)
You put you’re arms up with you want to be held and you say “ma” when you want more food.
You still say mama all the time and now you’ve added dada in there too.
You play peek-a-boo and you give kisses when we ask.
We’re working on waving bye-bye and you actually did it to me for the first time when I dropped you off at daycare today.
You squeal with excitement the second your daddy gets home from work and it is the sweetest thing. You guys sure are buddies.
You had your first real sickness this month. An ear infection. You had a high fever so I had to get you from daycare and we took you right in. You handled it so well. You pretty much stayed your happy self but every once in awhile you wanted some extra snuggles which I was happy to give. You even remained a great sleeper during all that! We made it 9.5 months before you ever to a fever which I’m so thankful for.
You love playing on our bed. As soon as I bring you into our room you start squealing. You love it when I throw you back on the bed. You just smile and kick your arms and legs. When I tickle your back you fall straight back on the bed and laugh.
You celebrated your first St. Patrick’s Day!
You still love your bath and have now discovered standing up and falling down to make a splash. You think it’s pretty funny. You are always sad when it’s time to get out.
You have so many toys, but yet you find the most random things to play with.
This little can of puffs kept you entertained for a LONG time. You love pushing it and chasing after it.
You are a silly boy.
We love you so much. You make all of our days brighter and we can’t imagine what we ever did without you.
You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to us.
