4 day weekends are nice ya’ll. Loved it.
I am back at work today and it’s already Wednesday. Amazing.
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We sure did. Very busy, but lots of fun!
So I made this festive trifle via skinnytaste for our family reunion on Saturday and it turned out really great…until I put the lid on and smashed the top, oh well.
The majority of the weekend contained a lot of this…
NOT good for the weight-loss.
Loved seeing this girl of course.
We headed for our camping adventure with Robbie’s family after stuffing our faces and doing some chatting at my family reunion.
We tented it.
Our tent that claimed it could be set up in 1 minute, really can be set up in 1 minute. So fast and awesome. I went to get my camera to document it and it was up when I got back.
We played a lot of bean bags or corn hole or whatever you like to call it.
A tournament with proper bracketing was even set up. We’re serious about our bean bags.
Made and ate more food.
Like father, like son(s).
Watched cousins play together.
Met new cousins…
Spent some time here….
Lots of people celebrating.
Watched a lot of these.
I feel I must document this in writing: July 4, 2011 my husband ran 6 miles with me.
It was an Independence Day miracle!
Tuesday got to spend some time with this lovely lady.
Lots of catching up and eating of course. Frozen yogurt anyone?
Now it’s back to reality. I am so thankful to have such wonderful family/friends. We really are blessed to be surrounded by such great people.
